Target agreements

Goal agreement, goal formulation, goal achievement, etc. are business terms from company management that are used to define a result or process goal within a value chain or in project management.
Objectives are formulated that the partners are to achieve - usually within a set period of time. Objective agreements are usually part of a management by objectives concept; they are often set out as an appendix to the employment contract or project planning.
In companies, target agreements with employees are often made and documented during employee discussions.
Due to the problems and risks associated with target agreements used to assess employees, their implementation in Germany is subject to co-determination.
