E16 Training and further education

One aim of in-company training and further education is to build, maintain or expand the professional skills of an employee in order to promote that person’s career advancement.
In some professional fields, further training is a prerequisite for legal practice. In the educational or medical therapy sector, for example, the practice permit is linked to regular participation in further training events. In other professions, employees need further training in order to be able to assert themselves against competitors in the future.
