The change model, or 3-phase model, is a versatile model originally developed by psychologist Kurt Lewin to describe social change in a society. In his 1947 article "Frontiers in Group Dynamics," he formulated the simple and repetitive sequence of three phases as a possibility "for resolving social conflicts," which had already been a central focus of his research for years.
Since this is a model and not an experiment, there are no findings in this sense. Instead, Lewin's assumptions, which, based on social psychology, have proven effective in all fields where people are exposed to change, including project management and change management.
