The consistent application of methods such as Scrum as a process model for agile software development and the corresponding tools by competent and motivated employees is increasingly making the difference between success and failure. Projects are essentially the microcosm in which the prerequisites for modern company management are developed.
For the organizational and operational structure of a company, a high proportion of projects means that old structures have to be questioned, repurposed, dissolved or partially replaced. The most important challenges of a flexible project organization are:
• Limits on time and costs
• Time window as work section (sprint)
• Concrete targets, including sub-targets
• Flexible response to changing conditions
• Solving new, innovative tasks
• Combining individual tasks, including different areas
• Teams with employees with different skills
