T07 Target agreements

“Target agreement”, “target formulation” and “target achievement” are business terms from corporate management with whose semantic help a result or process goal is defined within a value chain and in project management.
Goals are formulated that the partners are to achieve - usually within a set period of time. Goal agreements are common in what is known as Management by Objectives (MbO). In this process, which translates as "management through goal agreements", employees are actively involved in setting goals and are then allowed to decide relatively freely how they achieve the goals set.
