T17 Mediation

Mediation (Latin: mediation) is a structured procedure designed to enable the constructive resolution or avoidance of conflicts.
The parties in conflict, i.e. the mediators, want to reach a mutual agreement that meets their needs and interests with the support of a third, impartial and neutral person, namely the mediator.

The German writer Kurt Tucholsky (1890-1935) explains clearly in one quote what is important in mediation:
Those who argue should know that no one is ever completely right and the other completely wrong.
